Responsibilities
- Analyzes legislation and regulations in the field to understand their impact on the forecasting of electric power and natural gas.
- Participates in forecasting activities to support the fulfillment of the business plan and the targeted budget for electric power and natural gas.
- Prepares internal and external reports related to electric power and natural gas forecasting.
- Analyzes the customer base in their portfolio for electric power and natural gas and collects their data.
- Collects data on daily consumption of electric power and natural gas from distribution operators.
- Participates in developing forecasts for electric power and natural gas consumers for the short, medium, and long term.
- Contributes to the development of forecasts for electric power and natural gas production for the short, medium, and long term.
- Participates in trading on the Intraday market for electric power and natural gas quantities modified by forecasts.
- Collaborates in preparing reports to the National Energy Regulatory Authority (ANRE) and other relevant authorities for electric power and natural gas.
Requirements
- Higher education: Engineering, Economics (Energy Faculty is an advantage).
- Knowledge of the electric power market, its operating mechanisms, and related legislation.
- Proven experience of at least 3 years in a similar position.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Intermediate level of English.
- Very good communication, analytical, and decision-making skills.
Time management skills.
