- Access to modern industrial equipment;
- Hands-on development in: production, maintenance, processes, sustainability;
- An Assessment Center designed as a learning experience, not just a test;
- Mentoring from senior engineers + support from the People & Culture team;
- Access to global learning platforms (Percipio, Career Hub, Career Catalyst);
- The possibility to become a Process / Production / Maintenance Engineer at the end of the program.
Project Topic – Your step in the selection process
How we turn waste into valuable resources: technical solutions for the cement plant of the future
What do you need to do?
- Identify a problem / improvement opportunity in a technological process (e.g., waste recycling, use of alternative fuels, alternative materials)
- Propose a practical solution in your area, choosing one of the following directions (depending on your technical profile):
- Mechanical – Optimizing equipment involved in waste recycling (e.g., crushers, conveyor belts) or solutions to reduce wear and extend service life in the context of using alternative materials.
- Electrical – Designing a monitoring and energy-efficiency solution for equipment involved in recycling and processing alternative fuels (e.g., electric motors, energy recovery systems).
- Automation – Automating a stage in the recycling process or dosing of alternative fuels using sensors, PLCs, and control systems to reduce losses and maximize efficiency.
- Chemistry – Proposing alternative materials to natural resources (raw materials) that can be used in the cement production process, taking into account the composition and properties required for the final product.
- Describe the solution’s impact (feasibility, benefits for the plant).
- Include an outline / simplified diagram of the process (process flow, simplified scheme, etc.).
📄 Project format: max. 5 pages, PPT or PDF
💡 We’re not looking for perfect projects, but for applied ideas and logical thinking.
Why apply?
- You will work on real projects alongside industry experts
- You will learn what technical leadership means
- You will be part of a program connected to the future of sustainable construction
